Here's a video of Alex helping put up the tree.

Can't wait for next year when we'll have two helpers!

Thanksgiving week was a good one. Andy had most of the week off, so Alex (and I) enjoyed having him around all week! We went to the Jackson's for a couple days and then on to the Rummel's for another couple days. We drove back home on Friday night so that we could be in town for a Purdue basketball game on Saturday. Andy took Alex to the game, which he enjoyed very much, while Adam and I stayed home. Then that evening, we put up the Christmas tree and decorations! I hope to get a video of Alex helping put up the tree, but we'll see what kind of time I have. I go back to work this weekend, so I might not have the extra time I'm hoping for!

Adam's just happy with all the extra attention!

Alex is helping Nanna Jackson scrub potatoes.
He takes it very seriously!

Nanna's cinnamon rolls are my favorite.

Alex loves to look through the photo albumn.
This just happened to be when great-Grandma was here!

October

Like usual, these pictures are not in any particular order. October went by very quickly! Adam is getting a bit chubbier and you will notice in the pictures that Alex's new thing is to stick his tongue out when he's working. :)

Adam is 6wks old

Alex has his own rake, but prefers to use ours. He likes to rake the leaves away from the pile and spreads them out instead of the other way around. Needless to say he's a big helper!
Oh, and it's a Sunday is these pictures----thus the Colts jersey.
And of course, notice the tongue.

Donna found a table at a garage sale for the boys. It needed some cleaning and Alex was more than willing to help. He loves to scrub and clean!

Also on the list of to-do's at Grandma's, was to dig up the rest of the carrots. Alex used his new shovel (thanks Grandma!) and did a very nice job of taking them to the pile. Of course it was his own pile and not the one Grandma had made, but who cares!

Yumm! pudding pop right before bath time!

Alex has his own baby to take care of and burp.

He takes it very seriously.

Alex loves to wear his Colts jersey. Especially if Daddy wears it too.
This picture was taken this past Sunday while Andy was at the Colts game in Indy.

Good thing I got this picture...
Right afterward Adam spit up/vomitted all over his outfit (and me)!

Grandpa Rummel gave Alex his first donut a couple weeks ago.
Needless to say, he's a big fan of them!

Pete came for Purdue's homecoming game this past weekend and played with the alumni band.
Alex was facinated with the trumpet and the box that carries it.

The next two photos were taken on Oct 2, 2009.

Adam is 3 weeks old.

Andy and Alex watching the first Colts game of the season!
Alex didn't take his jersey off for bedtime, or when he woke up the next morning!
And he wanted to know why Daddy didnt have his on the next morning. :)

At home...

Well the first few days Alex was a very helpful big brother! He even cleaned out his crib of all his blankets and stuffed animals to make room for Adam. However, about a week after Adam being home, Alex has been....difficult. Needless to say, he's not quite as fond of his new family member as he first was. :) Adam is doing great and is a happy baby.

Uncle Phil gave Alex a tool box with some tools in it and has been "fixing" everything!
He also got a tool bench with some power tools (drill and saw). He takes his tools eveywhere and fixes everything! Thankfully it's a good distraction while I take care of Adam. :)
