Christmas at home

I dont think Alex understood too much of Christmas...except for the presents. Since his birthday was the weekend before, everytime he saw a present, he'd say "me?" and point to it. The problem is that yes, all of the presents were for him! Adam got a few things, but I'm pretty sure he didnt' care one bit. :) Adam just enjoyed the extra attention. He's a very happy baby and when he smiles, it's more than a smile. It's almost a silent laugh.....you can just see the joy all over his face!

Andy's Aunt Elaine always makes the kids a quilt when they're born. So a couple of the pictures are of Adam on that quilt. It's beautiful and I love the camping theme! You can see in the other pictures that Alex spends alot of time in his kitchen, mixing, blending, toasting, and all sorts of work! His stove even makes boiling and sizzling sounds when certain pans are on one of the burners! We change the batteries out in the mixer once a week or so. It gets ALOT of use. :)

Happy Birthday Alex!

Alex got into opening presents a lot more this year than last. However, he still did it Alex style...every piece of paper had to be off a present before it was "open" and he could go to the next. He got two goldfish, Elmo and Bob. But Bob didnt last long. If you ask Alex "Where's Bob?", he'll take your hand, lead you to the bathroom and point down the toilet. :) He also got a play kitchen, which he uses everyday. His favorite thing is to make food for the cat, Marv. When we let the cat in the house, he runs around bringing all sorts of food to the poor cat. I walk in the kitchen and Marv is surrounded by food, plates, spoons, bowls, cups, etc. Alex also did much better at eating his cake and blowing out the candle. In fact, he liked blowing out the candles so much, we had to relight them a few times, just so he could blow them out again! And he ended up eating mostly just the frosting, but hey, that's better than last year!

Alex gets some food to go with the kitchen for Christmas.

Monkey Joe's

For those of you who haven't heard of it, Monkey Joe's is a place full of the big blow up slides, obsticals, and jumpy things. Andy gets to go with Alex for free, since he's under 4 yrs old. They had a blast. I put Adam in the baby carrier and we walked around and watched them have a good time. Alex was exhausted afterwards though. It's alot of work for little legs. :)
