Pete & Kelli Wedding - Part 3

Ok so now we get to the good pictures!

Kelli was (and is) beautiful, and Pete couldn't wipe the smile off his face all day. Nancy made it through the whole wedding and reception too! They actually had a nursery for people with kids, so I even got to see the wedding (verses watching from a window in the back while my kids play).

It was an evening wedding and everything seemed to go smoothly. They took all their photos before the wedding (even some the day before!). Andy gave a very nice speech at the reception and our boys made it thru most of evening. It was a busy yet fun weekend. :)

I'm very jealous of them at this moment--they are relaxing in Mexico enjoying good food, beautiful beaches, and alone time with each other! ahhh, maybe someday Andy and I will get to enjoy a second honeymoon. :)

Pete & Kelli Wedding - Part 2

The Rehearsal Dinner

This week was quite the roller coaster... On Tuesday, Kelli's mom had her gallbladder removed! The surgery was suppose to only take 2 hours, but ended up taking 5. The doctor said she would be in the hospital for 4-6 days. We all kinda held our breath wondering if we would be going to a wedding or not this weekend. On Wednesday, Pete and Kelli decided to go ahead with the wedding. If Nancy didn't make it out of the hospital, they would go get married in the chapel at the hospital on Saturday morning, and then they would have the wedding as planned.

The Lord certainly worked a miracle in Nancy Rabenhorst, because she was released Friday afternoon! She suprised us all by showing up for rehearsal (looking fabulous, by the way) AND making it through the whole rehearsal dinner. Needless to say, it was a very joyful group that night for more than one reason!

Pete & Kelli Wedding - Part 1

We enjoyed our stay at my college roommate's house for a day or so and then headed to the hotel so we could be closer to the wedding festivities. Alex enjoyed going to the pool, but he would not get in. Adam, on the other hand, willingly got wet! It was his first pool experience. He wasn't excited, but not scared either. We also enjoyed just hanging in the room and playing with some toys and watching TV. Natalie shared the room with us got to share a bed with Alex. He did pretty good and only kicked her off the bed a couple times. :)

Here's a few pictures of the boys.

We went and visited one of my roommates from college. She and her family live in Peoria. Alex had fun playing with their daughter, Rylee. Rylee is the same age as Alex.
Here, Alex is mowing. He looooved the mower. Guess I'll have to keep an eye out for one at a garage sale!
