These pictures were taken today! I can't just sit and read while he plays anymore. He's always getting into something! And as you can see from the pictures, the cat food bowl is his new find. He hits the jackpot if it's full of food.

Funny video

Alex sat in one of the holes I dug for my flowers! He couldn't get out and I couldn't help but get it on camera!

September fun

We are all enjoying the cooler weather and being outside! Alex has been helping me in the flower garden as well as playing with Puddy and the kittens. He had his 9mo-old "birthday" this month, and Grandma Rummel got him the snowman winter hat. We were lucky to get a picture...he normaly rips it off his head the minute you put it on. Alex loves the dishwasher. If he hears the clang of dishes and silverware, he crawls the fastest I've seen yet. He loves to pull dishes out and put them back in. He's none too happy when you close it though. Hopefully when the leaves start to fall he wont eat too many of them!

Crazy Crawler

While working in the kitchen one day, I turned around to find Alex gone! But I could hear him playing nearby....... After glancing over the kitchen, I bent over and there he was! Somehow he had managed to crawl underneath the excersaucer. He was attempting to sit up when I heard him. However, he's taller than it is.......... so he made his way out instead!

Slip'n Slide

So Alex finally made it down the slip'n slide! We had a perfect day too. Alex did ok going down the slide, but he prefered to play in the water at the bottom!

Lucas Oil Stadium

So we went to the public opening of the new Colts stadium a couple weeks ago. That place is HUGE! It's a very impresive building. We even got to go on the field!---well the sideline and one endzone :) Alex enjoyed the feeling of the turf on his feet. And he like to try to pull out the "grass", but ended up with little pieces of rubber all over him! It was quite a day!

where did the summer go!?

Alex has been keeping Andy and me busy. Lately, he crawls everywhere and climbs everything! It's hard to believe he's 8 mo old already. Before I know it, we'll be having his first birthday party.
