California-- The first few days

One of the first things we did when we got to sunny California....make fresh squeezed lemonade! Alex had to try the lemons without any sugar first. He made quite a face, but he kept going back for more. :) He did like the final product very much though. Nothing beats a nice glass of lemonade! yum!

We went to the park almost everyday. The boys like to swing the best.

On one trip, Alex decided to lounge in his personal carriage. :)

I love those blue eyes!

I know the red hat is a little girlie, but it keeps the sun of him so well!

Throughout my pictures you will see Alex watering. He loved to use the little watering can and help Grandma G water. He takes his watering very seriously. It's awful cute to watch.

Nap time with Papa

Alex loved the tinker toys! He'd never played with them before,

so he just loved to tinker with them!

He made a tractor (with help of course!)

We'd better get out the directions for this one!
